University of Manitoba Scholarships

The University of Manitoba scholarships offer financial support to individuals who will undertake further studies in special fields. Although there are a plethora of funding opportunities across the university’s faculty, we will focus on the center of aging.

For starters, you must have an interest in or be willing to research aging to qualify. As usual, students will pass through a series of assessments to determine their eligibility for this scholarship.

While this does not come with huge benefits, the idea is to cover part of the expenses you incur while engaging in your post-graduate studies. In this article, we’ll provide a summary of the funding opportunities under the Center for Aging.

About the University of Manitoba

Established 140 years ago, the University of Manitoba is among the leading research institutes in Canada. The university is globally recognized for quality education, innovation, and a variety of unique programs.

More so, it is the largest research hub with more than 100 degrees, certificates, and programs. They also offer over 60 undergraduate programs across their campuses in Canada.

The university is a favorite choice for international students as they will benefit from several advantages, including cutting-edge facilities and quality education.

Overview of the University of Manitoba scholarships

The University of Manitoba scholarships and awards under the Centre for Aging are solely for students in the center. This implies that applicants must be enrolled for research or advanced studies on either aging or gerontology. Therefore, the first step to qualifying for these opportunities is to register for a full-time program in the next academic session.

Fortunately, awards for graduate students are available from the gifts and donations made to the Centre of Aging. You may decide to apply for more than one opportunity, but you must complete a different application form for each award you choose. Above all, these awards will encourage you to kick-start your career as a researcher and also support activities in the University’s Centre of Aging.
