Cloud Strife
Considering his status as the protagonist of the original Final Fantasy VII, it would be difficult to imagine Cloud not being strong in FF7 Ever Crisis. However, with his Limit Breaks, Cloud stands head and shoulders above other Physical DPS options in the game. His Blade Beam ability also provides him with a formidable AoE option.
Tifa Lockhart
Tifa, too, earns a place among the S tier characters due to her impressive debuff utility. She has the ability to apply various debuffs to the enemy, leaving her teammates with a significant stats advantage in battle. Additionally, Tifa possesses a powerful heal ability that costs one less ATV (Action Time Value) compared to other characters.

Aerith Gainsborough
Aerith is the best healer in the game. Her Fairy Tale spell is very powerful, and she has Mythical Rod for extra magic defense. Aerith is useful for enemies who specialize in magic.
Sephiroth
A glass cannon, Sephiroth has the lowest health pool in the game, so he is less effective than Cloud in terms of Physical Damage. But Cloud is still the best Physical Damage player in the game, while Sephiroth is the best Magic Damage player.
Matt Winsord

As far as guns and Limit Breaks are concerned, Glenn is a great player with great weapons. However, more people tend to prefer Barret or Cloud as their DPS.
Zack Fair
Although Zach isn’t the best Physical or Magic DPS, he does both decently. He has a niche in B tier due to the ability Black Whiskers, which drops physical damage. As a result of his barrier and Matt’s barrier, Zack can make the team very defensively strong.
C Tier
Red XIII
Although Seaside Collar is a great ability, and Red’s Limit Breaks are very cool, there’s really only one reason why Red should be chosen over the above characters.
