There will be a technical competency exercise for all candidates shortlisted for SMS posts, designed to test relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics of which will be announced by the Department. The list of candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the interview and technical exercises followed by recommendations to attend generic managerial competencies using the mandatory DPSA SMS competency assessment tools.
